Rance’s battle with the former Demon King Gele, he was trapped along with Sill in an alternate dimension with no means to escape before being transported by the God of Light GOD and taken to an unknown location that they’ve never seen before. Dark Lords were most likely involved in the attack and Rance needs to find and regain the holy sword and armor in order to gain the legendary Chaos, the only thing known to be able to damage dark lords, in order to free Leazas from Helman rule. Leazas has fallen due to an attack from Helman, and Lia has been captured! Kanami finds Rance and asks him to help. During the harsh magic battle, the entire town was entombed underground and a barrier spell was placed on it, preventing anyone from leaving, including the maidens who terrorized the town. However, after the ten years, the girls suddenly rebelled against Ragishss and killed him. They were to be raised as mages and work as the town’s guardians after their training fulld. The story is kind of weird and there is still some sex stuff that I could do without, but there is no denying a lot of love and time went into making this game.(2010 Remake) Ten years prior to the story, four young girls in the town of Kathtom were appointed as disciples to an old mage named Ragishss. The illness mechanic is very annoying and having to find cures was not something I enjoyed, to be honest with you.Īpart from the illness thing (which I am sure I could get used to) I feel that overall, this plays better than the first game did. You have to be smart with your active skills, worry about this new “illness” system and in general, it feels more like a fully-fledged RPG this time around.
I like this style of gameplay and I feel that with this one they went more in-depth with the RPG side of things which I really did like. The gameplay of Evenicle 2 is once again that of an RPG with visual novel-style storytelling sprinkled over the top of it. I have a feeling that this change to a “cuter” style is not going to be to everyone’s taste. However, this time around they have gone for a more chibi kind of art style and that is something I really do like. It looks fantastic, which so did the first game to be fair. The first thing you will notice about this game is the visual style.
